- The most definitive feature of immatures of this form versus Ring-billed Gull - the patterning of the wing coverts - was not described, and the other relevant factors were not described in sufficient detail. This subspecies can very closely approach Ring-billed Gull in many respects and would probably need to be photographed to be accepted.
