- Details
- The bird was photographed, and although the bird was certainly small for a Ring-billed Gull, the photographs in combination with a written description eliminate all ages of Larus canus brachyrhynchus. Although first-winter nominate canus could not be completely eliminated, it is virtually certain that the bird was a small first-winter Ring-billed Gull.
