- This was a large grackle seen only very briefly (and one observer saw only the tail). Although the sighting could well be correct, Boat-tailed Grackle could not be eliminated by the information gathered, and most Members felt that more thorough descriptions and a longer period of observation would be necessary for an acceptable second state record.
